On Wednesday, the Maison des Associations and the media library were open to welcome residents needing to warm up and recharge their cell phones, but this system seems to have had little success.
Several residents had to throw away the contents of their freezers, others were able to borrow generators.
The street is open again
Internet operators, on the other hand, will need more time to restore service and it is expected that everything will return to normal before the weekend.
Public lighting should be repaired quickly and the street has been open to traffic again since Wednesday 5 p.m.
