If the 2024 winter wonderland kicked off on November 16 by the first turns of the Ferris wheel at the foot of the monumental fountainValentinoises will truly immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas this Friday, November 29. In Valencia (Drome), the Christmas Village opens its doors tomorrow, for a period of one month, until New Year's Eve Tuesday December 24.
More than 40 chalets will take place on the main boulevards, where artisans and exhibitors will await visitors to share their passion and know-how. This will be an opportunity to taste local specialtiesto discover gift ideas and enjoy the festive atmosphere of the city.
Meetings with Santa
Numerous activities for young and old will punctuate this month of festivity:
- Meetings with Santa Claus;
- Traditional wooden games;
- Magical strolls and live music;
- Festive shows and surprises throughout the month;
- And even activities around the mountain.
The big parade on December 7
The great evening of enchantments will once again be the highlight of the end of the year. The Christmas Parade will take place on December 7, bringing together nearly 40,000 people. More than 400 dancers from Valence, professionals and amateurs, will stroll through the city center from Boulevard d'Alsace to the Peynet kiosk.
That evening, a fireworks display is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on the Champ de Mars. The full program of festivities can be found ici. Enough to spend a magical moment with family, friends or alone.
Opening of the Christmas Village: Friday, November 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
