Investigations are continuing to resolve the gray areas surrounding the discovery, Wednesday November 27, of the lifeless body of a newborn in a pond in the hamlet of La Boucardière, in Vigneux-de-Bretagne. The owner of the premises reported his presence around 11:20 a.m. The baby has not yet been identified.
On-site searches resumed this Thursday morning. Units from the Nantes Surveillance and Intervention Platoon (PSIG) and divers have taken over this large unfenced area, made up of four bodies of water, away from homes. A drone pilot is also on site. To try to find clues and to make sure the child's mother isn't in trouble somewhere.
