Throughout the month of December, Guadeloupe la 1ère immerses you in the magic of traditional Guadeloupean Christmas celebrations. Discover the full program of festivities which will be available on Guadeloupe la 1ère, the radio.
From Wednesday December 4 it is “Nwèl a Kaz An Nou”: a cultural event around sharing and solidarity, organized in the Jardins de Guadeloupe la 1ère, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Mes é Labitid travels from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to bring you to the Christmas market set up for the occasion. Yasser will meet the exhibitors, and will share the festive atmosphere with us from the different stands.
At 8 p.m., we take out the hymns and sing Christmas on the show Pawol 5 & Pat. Pat Kancel will welcome, under the porch, the group “TROPIK LIVE by Christian Nara” for a Chanté Nwèl live on the airwaves. Live on Facebook live, and watch again on TV on Friday December 13 at 8:05 p.m.
You should know that Tropik Live was born from the passion of an artist: Christian Nara. Originally from Capesterre Belle Eau, it was in 2016 that he brought together musicians and singers to set up a musical structure dedicated to Christmas carols. A crazy bet, but three weeks later, the group “Tropik – live by Christian Nara” begins its first performances. For 8 years, Christian Nara and his group have traveled throughout the Guadeloupean archipelago, and offer a repertoire of hymns and Nwèl songs, to the delight of the public.
To participate in this day, the public is invited to register directly by listening to the various radio broadcasts. Listen to the station hosts!
And that's not all, don't miss on Friday December 13, the “Léwoz' A Man Soso” between 8 p.m. and midnight, live on Guadeloupe la 1ère radio.
