Nadia Viper has nothing to say and makes it known. This is the
title of an audio cassette that young Bastien listens to on repeat while he
spends his boring adolescence in the countryside. This is an orange cassette
which contains the best sketches of Nadia Viper, a successful comedian
quivering. Nadia Viper and Bastien will quickly meet in favor
of a show scheduled in the village's somewhat shabby village hall
by Bastien. A strange complicity will be born. A special friendship, almost
interested. At this point in the story, Nadia Viper, ready to do anything to rise
at the top of the bill, still hopes to make his first Olympia and finally have a
great popular success. Bastien dreams of going to , of writing too
sketches, to perform in café theaters. It's certain, Bastien must have
talent and Nadia could help him. It's sure, Nadia also has talent but
could he help her? This boy who saw nothing and this woman who fears
the more being helps each other, uses each other and wears each other out until finally the curtain
fall.

L’Admiration tells the trajectory of these two
characters over 25 years. The story questions the life of an artist, failure and
success, shame and admiration. It is also the novel of luck, that
that we seek and that very often abandons us.
