A series of accidents with violent impacts occurred this Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in the town of Grenade, in Haute-Garonne. After helping a man whose vehicle hit a plane tree, firefighters intervened in a collision between two cars.

The accident took place after dark, around 7 p.m., on Avenue de Gascogne, at the exit of the small town. Two vehicles collided violently. The first report shows two victims, one of whom is being extricated.

Fifteen firefighters, emergency services and police responded to this accident. The second in the space of a few hours on a secondary road in Granada.

A little earlier in the afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., another serious accident occurred not far from there, on the Montaigut road. The rescue teams were confronted with the high kinetic impact of a utility vehicle against a tree. A 60-year-old man, seriously injured, had to be extricated from the vehicle using the firefighters' extrication equipment. Traffic had to be stopped.
