Recruited in the summer of 2023, Enzo Le Fée should already leave the Breton club to join the Italian championship. Starting 19 times this season, the midfielder has had his ups and downs, like Rennes who finished in 10th place in the championship. Enzo Le Fée had a complicated adaptation at Rennes, before shining during the winter. However, he was stopped in his tracks by an injury at the end of February and never managed to regain a starting place. Despite a season where the player did not show his best level, this did not prevent him from attracting the interest of AS Roma, who made him one of the priority tracks of this transfer window.

The file should be finalized in the coming days.

AS Roma had reached an agreement with Enzo Le Fée several days ago. The Italian club had made an initial offer to Rennes of 15 million euros which was refused. Stade Rennais wants to recover its initial outlay and has set the price of Enzo Le Fée at 20 million euroswhich has not cooled AS Roma, which is continuing negotiations with the Breton club. Rome should match the requested amountby requesting a payment deferral. According to information from journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the transfer would be very close to completion but AS Roma first wants to finalize the recruitment of Sergio Gomez, the Manchester City left-back.

Former Nice director Florent Ghisolfi, now head of Roma’s recruitment unit, wants to reach an agreement before the weekend so that Enzo Le Fée can take part in the Rome pre-season which begins on July 8. Enzo Le Fée should sign a 5-year contract with a salary of €2 million by season.
