In order to promote the digital content of its activities, the Association Minarets Écologiques pour le Développement et le Climat (AMEDC) unveils an ambitious initiative in partnership with the AIESEC Organization, Kenitra branch. The International Open Summer University for Youth, a flagship project, will be held from July 1 to 30, 2024.

This event brings together local and international volunteers to enrich and develop AMEDC’s digital presence, while offering varied educational and cultural experiences.

This summer university aims to strengthen the impact of AMEDC’s online activities by coordinating with various organizations, including the Youth for Youth Association, the Sanaa Multidisciplinary Center, the Moroccan Association ” Hand in the Pâtee”, the Morocco Friends of the Environment Association, the Najat Forum Association for Culture, Education and Volunteering, as well as the Zahra Al-Khair Cooperative.

Under the leadership of young volunteers from the Tunisian Republic and a young volunteer from the Egyptian Republic, in collaboration with Moroccan volunteers, the summer university is deployed through workshops, archaeological and ecological field visits in various regions of Morocco, and other enriching activities at the headquarters of the Youth for Youth Association in Kenitra.

AMEDC, in line with its strategic plan, aims to build a comprehensive database and a rich archive of its documents and activities. The goal is to make these resources accessible to a wider audience, thus facilitating the dissemination and impact of its sustainable development initiatives.

« Careful planning and effective implementation of this project are crucial to maximize its utility and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” stressed Ahmed Rezki, director of the Youth for Youth Association, during the opening ceremony of the summer university.

Digital content creation is a powerful tool for civil associations, allowing them to promote their activities, capture the attention of target audiences, and increase their online visibility. By using reports, digital productions, educational tools, and testimonials, AMEDC aims to demonstrate the quality and credibility of its projects, while strengthening the association’s visual identity.

Digital content not only helps to raise awareness of the association’s qualitative interventions, but also to attract new supporters and partners. This helps to improve the user experience on online platforms and increase visibility in search engines, making information accurate and easily accessible.

The inauguration of the summer university, marked by inspiring speeches and the presence of influential figures in the field of volunteering and development, highlighted the importance of this project. Participants included Abdelkrim Ouzroual, municipal councilor, Hamid Rachil, environmental expert, Najat Majji, development expert, as well as other key actors from civil society and the media.

The event also highlighted the commitment and enthusiasm of international volunteers, including Farah Sghir, Anas Ben Ammar, and Khaloud Hleila from Tunisia, demonstrating the international reach of this initiative.
