Clearly, the lives of rail users are not going smoothly at the moment in Hauts-de-France and more specifically in Oise.
After the dead autumn leaveswhich made the tracks slippery and hampered the smooth movement of trains on Monday, a new difficulty was announced this morning.
This Tuesday, November 26, 2024train circulation is particularly complicated between Compiègne, Creil and Paris since the early hours of the day. Several trains were simply canceled.
Several stations impacted
The SNCF evokes a “act of vandalism” committed around the Pont-Sainte-Maxence station to justify these cancellations. This actually involves theft of cables over several hundred meters. Others were allegedly set on fire intentionally.
“Coaches are being set up to serve intermediate stations,” said the SNCF around 8 a.m.
As a result, several trains serving the stations of Villers-Saint-Paul, Rieux-Angicourt, Pont-Sainte-Maxence, Chevrières and Longueil-Sainte-Marie were deleted.
Normal traffic is not expected to resume before 2 p.m. this afternoon.
