How to get to EBC

The Espace Bruno Corbé is located nearby on the site of the port of Brussels, near Tour et Taxis. You must go to theavenue du Port n°104 in 1000 Brussels. Then here’s how to access it.

Innovation at the heart of the EBC

Responses to humanitarian crises are demanding and require equipment:

  • easy to install and use
  • reliable
  • rapidly deployable
  • adaptable to specific environments and constraints.

This need prompts us to develop innovative equipment. Many innovation projects have been carried out at the EBC.

These projects involved testing equipment and then modifying it before sending it into the field for real-world testing. Examples include:

  • An emergency hospitalization kit including all the medical and logistical equipment allowing the surgeon to operate during the first 72 hours of an emergency
  • From the barcode system that allows data to be transferred to Ebola centers
  • Adapting Toyota vehicles into ambulances
  • Glass crusher for medical waste treatment areas
  • A new horizontal autoclave
