Candidates qualified for the second round of the 2024 legislative elections in the six constituencies of Morbihan had until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, to confirm their candidacy.
Four candidates from the New Popular Front, who qualified, announced their withdrawal in order to block the National Rally. Only one three-way race will therefore be played out, in Lorient. Here is the list of the 13 candidates who will compete in the department on Sunday, July 7.

In the 1re constituency (Vannes)
After the withdrawal of Anne Gallo (New Popular Front), arrival 2e After the first round with 28.24%, two candidates will face off on Sunday in the Vannes constituency: the outgoing MP Anne Le Hénanff (Ensemble-Horizons), who came out on top with 42.13% of the vote, and Joseph Martin (Rassemblement National), who reached 25.37% despite the controversy surrounding his tweet described as anti-Semitic.
In the 2e constituency (Auray, Port-Louis)
Following the withdrawal of the New Popular Front candidate, Jade Béniguel, two candidates will face off in the second constituency of Morbihan (Auray, Port-Louis): the outgoing MP Jimmy Pahun (Ensemble), who came first with 32.14%, and Florent de Kersauson (Rassemblement National), who came second with 30.03% of the vote.
In the 3e constituency (Pontivy, Elven)
Antoine Oliviero (National Rally), who came in first with 24,584 votes, or 35.85% of the vote, will face the outgoing MP Nicole Le Peih (Ensemble) on Sunday, who obtained 18,222 votes (or 26.57%), in the third constituency of the department. Here too, the candidate of the New Popular Front, Marie Madeleine Doré-Lucas, who qualified for the second round by collecting 20.41%, withdrew to block the far right.
In the 4e constituency (Ploërmel, Questembert)
A duel is also looming in the fourth, where Paul Molac, outgoing deputy, Regionalist, who came out on top with 28,912 votes, or 35.84% of the votes cast, will face Katel Le Cuillier (25,414 votes, or 31.51%) who represents the National Rally (RN).
In the 5e constituency (Lorient)
The only three-way race in the department will be played out in Lorient, between the environmentalist Damien Girard (New Popular Front), who came first with 35.56% of the vote, the outgoing MP Lysiane Métayer (Ensemble), who came second with 34.60%, and the National Rally candidate, Aurélie Le Goff, with 27.90%.
Earlier this Tuesday, the socialists and the LDH called on the Macronist candidate to withdraw. The mayor of Plœmeur, Ronan Loas, also called, between the lines, for her withdrawal. In vain.
In the 6e constituency (Hennebont, Gourin)
In the sixth constituency (Hennebont-Gourin), Nathalie Guihot-Vieira (National Rally), who obtained 34.69%, will face the outgoing MP, Jean-Michel Jacques (Ensemble pour la République/Renaissance), who obtained 33.08%.
Jean-Michel Baudry (New Popular Front), who qualified with 23.75%, quickly announced on Sunday that he was withdrawing to block the RN.
