When she landed at Roissy airport, a Czech national had the unpleasant surprise of seeing her dog escape from the hold she was in during the flight. Since then, she has been desperate to get her hands on it, without success.

It's a story that could bring to mind Spielberg's “Terminal”, released in 2004. Because for Misa, a traveler from the Czech Republic whose flight arrived in Roissy last week, the airport has become her new place of life provisional. “I’m depressed because I’ve been living at the airport for a week and I still don’t have my dog,” she summarizes to franceinfo.

On November 19, Misa, 29, embarked for Dallas, in the United States, where she was to meet her partner. She takes her dog, Amalka, with her because she is her support animal. Misa indeed suffers from attention disorder, and her dog helps her a lot to refocus when her mind is troubled. Amalka is put in a cage, installed in the hold provided for this purpose. The flight includes a connection through , via Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport.

Please TWITTER, find Amalka. This dog ran away from the hold of a plane @AirFranceFR at CDG airport. His mistress is desperate. Neither Air FR nor the airport helps him. Amalka has been wandering for 3 days in freezing temperatures. RT #final pic.twitter.com/YzLJL5FiTB

But the landing is muscular. In the shock, the lock on Amalka's cage breaks, and the dog flees as soon as the hold door opens shortly after landing. And since then, despite all the efforts made, no one has been able to get their hands on Amalka. Hunts were organized, and Misa was even authorized by the prefecture to go to the slopes to try to recover her dog. An authorization rarely granted. “We have deployed resources never before used,” assures Air , which operated the flight after which the animal escaped.

Amalka was seen several times in the airport. Photos were taken, and Misa was even able to approach her, without succeeding in getting the dog to come to her. “It’s so much pressure for her, she had never taken a plane before…”, analyzes her owner.

Refusing to leave her dog behind, Misa did not take her plane to Dallas as planned. She has been staying at the hotel for a week and spends her days picking up her dog from the airport. Their hotel costs are covered by the airline during this period.
