LONG HIKE
What a joy to travel with your backpack from refuge to refuge on trails of great beauty. You choose your section according to your condition or the challenge you are facing. Did you know that Gaspésie is the only place in North America to have a GR certified trail? For those who want to go further, the GR A1 is connected to the Appalachian Trail on the American side.

The International Appalachian Trail – its nickname is SIA – starts in the village of Matapédia, goes up the Valley to Amqui before reaching Cap-Gaspé after crossing the Matane Wildlife Reserve and Forillon National Park. With a total distance of 650 km, it can be taken for the day or a few days or crossed in its entirety in about 40 days.
KAYAK EXPEDITION
The guided expedition offered by Cap Aventure is perfect for beginners or for several days of kayaking adventures from Forillon National Park to Rocher Percé National Park and Bonaventure Island. Included in the program: equipment, meals expertly prepared by inspired guides and overnight stays in tents. When you wake up, the scenery is stunning, sea or cliff side, a seal here, a gannet there.
