Call for volunteers for the Cornouaille festival
The Cornouaille Festival organising team is calling for volunteers to help out on the closing day, Sunday 21st July. This day features a grand parade in the morning and several activities throughout the day: animated scenes, street performances, election of the Queen of Cornouaille, triumph of the bell ringers, etc.
“The missions include securing the perimeter, cash management (mornings only) and supervision, over several time slots between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.,” the organizers specify.

22,000 land registry plans available online
The Departmental Archives of Finistère have put online a tool allowing you to carry out research in all the documents of the “Napoleonic” land register and the renovated land register. 22000 plans are accessible.
This new resource is of interest to both individuals and specialists. Established by the law of 15 September 1807 for tax purposes, this so-called “Napoleonic” or old land register traces, commune by commune, the state of built or unbuilt properties. It is now used by historians to reconstruct urban and rural history and to study the evolution of landscapes, but also by genealogists to trace the history of a family home or understand the environment of their ancestors.
