It was in 1734 that Paul d'Harambure married Marie de Moussy. The two families then lived together at the Château de Grange, which became Harambure by royal decree under Louis XVIII. Legend even says that Agnès Sorel was born there. It is in this place that Valérie d'Harambure and her daughter Joséphine offer a range of activities in an exceptional setting.
Both passionate about this noble and intelligent animal, the horse, they found, through the qualities and sensitivity of the animal, what it can bring to the well-being of man, as if it were the horse that had conquered man, and not the other way around!
Each has its own scope of activities in this area of around fifty horses. Joséphine has been riding horses since the age of 3, competing and show jumping whenever she can. There is no shortage of work in the field. Retired ponies, au pairs, retired horses, boarded horses, horses for dressage, breaking in or teaching are the daily activities of his activities.
“Pony Camp” offers total immersion accommodation, housed and fed, immersed in the life of stables and ponies (ponies for young and old), where the love of horses and the discovery of nature, colors, sensations, smells and noises.
The horse as a mirror of man
Valérie, for her part, engages in another form of osmosis between man and animal, what she calls the “mirror horse”. A form of self-knowledge through the animal. An exchange where again it is not the man who chooses the horse, but the horse who chooses the man. The horse's behavior then turns out to be a reflection of itself. What the animal feels, man feels in turn, like a mirror, an awareness. All in a family atmosphere.
Apart from courses and internships, the area offers an exceptional welcome for multiple events. Weddings, seminars, receptions and has two gîtes for 8 and 12 people.
Valérie and Joséphine want to become a large horse-related wellness center. In the works, a shuttle will accommodate children directly in nearby stations, making it possible to pick up children from distant families directly as they exit the train.
