The Doué-la-Fontaine Bioparc invites its visitors to discover the park in a new light with the “Visits at dusk”. Every Friday during the summer, from July 5 to August 30, the Bioparc will extend its opening hours until 10 p.m., offering an additional 2.5 hours of visits to explore certain parts of the park and to discover the behavior of the animals until sunset.
During these exceptional evenings, the route of the underground tunnels and aviaries will be accessible, allowing you to admire the diversity of birds housed at the Bioparc as well as the panthers and red pandas. In the upper part, visitors will be able to walk the paths of the carnivore crater, the African aviary, or go to meet the bears, maned wolves, giant otters and spider monkeys!
Felines active in the evening
They will have the opportunity to observe snow leopards and lions at a time when these felines are particularly active! Perhaps they will catch the silhouette of a markhor or a cheetah, posing solemnly in the last light of day? Or spider monkeys at the top of their trees, enjoying the caress of the last rays of the sun…
On the occasion of these evenings, the restaurant “Le Camp des girafes” will be open for dinner and will offer a menu specially concocted for the occasion. An aperitif thali and grilled meats to be enjoyed facing the majestic giraffes in a twilight atmosphere (reservation recommended for the restaurant)
Practical. day ticket & Zoo Pass valid until 10 p.m. at no extra charge. Special evening ticket for all arrivals from 6 p.m.: €15 (single rate, on sale at the park ticket offices). Last entry possible at 7:30 p.m. The park paths from nos. 12 to 24 will no longer be accessible from 7:30 p.m. Access to the restaurant will be reserved for day visitors (day ticket, Zoo Pass or special evening ticket).
