Your support is a source of encouragement and pride.
My commitment has always been to place the general interest and the well-being of the people of Reunion above political interests.
The political parties have not been able to provide answers to local issues. Thus I have noted a rejection of the political class and votes towards the extremes. The situation in our Department has reached a critical threshold and has been set in for several years an unprecedented social crisis with no prospect of improvement and this despite the warnings that I have issued for more than 10 years (unemployment, insecurity, lack of housing, modern shanty towns, bankruptcies of companies, abandoned elderly people, people with disabilities, high cost of living …)
At the end of this first round, and with a view to the upcoming second round, I wish to inform the voters of the 2nd Constituency that I will not give any voting instructions. Everyone is free to make their choice in conscience.
I deeply respect the intelligence and discernment of the people of Reunion, and I am convinced that you will make the choice that seems best to you for our common future.
Once again, thank you for your support and trust. I will continue to invest myself for Reunion, whatever the outcome of these elections and I will get back to you very soon regarding the creation of our citizen movement.
