Good news for fans of Tomorrow Belongs to Us! An iconic character is about to make his big comeback in the daily soap opera on TF1.

On August 26, 2022, Samuel Chardeau (Axel Kiener) flew to the other side of the world to rebuild himself after a traumatic event that nearly cost him his life. And after more than a year and a half of absence, the former doctor at Saint-Clair hospital made his grand return under the Sète sun in a particularly worrying state.

Indeed, Samuel had fallen back into his addiction problems and was in a bad state. After several tormented weeks, he had finally decided to move to Montpellier to undergo detoxification treatment.

Since then, the doctor had returned to take a little tour of the Little Venice of Languedoc to pay a final tribute to his father, who died following a gunshot wound last May.

And if viewers thought that this was the comedian’s last appearance in the series, Samuel will finally be back soon in Tomorrow Belongs to Us. And this time, Victoire’s ex-partner could stay for a good while.

Samuel returns to Sète

In a new extract available on the TF1+ platformSamuel and William (Kamel Belghazi) have a drink at the Spoon.

I’m going away for a month and right away it’s a mess. Honestly, you disappoint me.“, Samuel says ironically before continuing, “You know I’m a former junkie, I need reference points. You and Aurore are my model of stability. And you kicked her out“.

William retorts that she is the one who left and who made the choice to take this apartment without consulting him. While Samuel reminds him that she did this only for the well-being of Manon (Louvia Bachelier), William still thinks that it is a bad idea for their daughter to go back to work so early. Samuel, who thinks it is good that Aurore (Julie Debazac) and William are balancing each other out, says he is certain that they will eventually make up.

Only, William is not so sure. It must be said that the doctor is tired of being crushed and even more tired of seeing that his wife makes fun of what he feels. Although his friend brings out the old files, Samuel has nevertheless decided to be objective and assures that this story will eventually die down.

Tired of talking about his relationship problems, William changes the subject and asks his friend why he came back.Between my father’s death and rehab, I realize that it’s only here that I feel truly good.“, Samuel answers him seriously.

The former doctor at Saint-Clair hospital therefore seems to be settling in Sète for good. News that should delight fans of Tomorrow Belongs to Us.
