When the house meets the tractor, an improbable scene in Morbihan

If they were in the middle of a dream, the image must have quickly turned into a nightmare, and a start. An agricultural tractor made an unexpected detour into a house located on the corner of rue de la Gare in the commune of Hennebont. A sensational entry, in the literal sense of the term, which surprised the owners, to say the least.

An eventful awakening at 2:30 a.m.

The driver, obviously a fan of impromptu naps, had dozed off at the wheel. Testing negative for alcohol and drugs, he can pride himself on having innovated in the art of parking. Fortunately, the residence, recently acquired but still uninhabited, had only one victim, its own load-bearing wall.

Nighttime superheroes in action

Quickly on the scene, emergency services illuminated the scene with flashing lights and efficiency. Firefighters, police, repairmen, all these wonderful people mobilized to extract the tractor and secure the scene. If the house mourns its shattered stones, the story could have gone much worse. No injuries reported, neither on the driver's side nor on the pedestrian side.
