Because the attractiveness of professions, academic guidance and the professional integration of young people are priorities, since 2010, MEDEF Île-de-France has been organizing the Fête des Métiers et de l’Alternance. 14th edition of the Fête des Métiers et de l’Alternance, on May 22, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Paris Montreuil Expo. This event, placed under the sign of youth guidance and employment, will bring together middle school students, high school students, students, schools and companies in a common approach to build a promising professional future. Main objectives of the event: • Introduce young people to careers and opportunities, • Provide information on sectors, training and opportunities, • Provide guidance and open up the field of possibilities, • Promote work-study programs and apprenticeships in particular, • Offer more than 5,000 job offers, apprenticeship contracts and professionalization. On the program: Meetings with schools, CFA, universities, training organizations, career guidance stakeholders, companies, branches and professional federations, advice on career guidance, apprenticeship training proposals, participatory workshops to discover careers, activities dedicated to their promotion.
