Three men aged between 19 and 30 were attacked with a knife on Monday 1st July around 9pm in the Saint-Louis district of the 15th arrondissement of Marseille. They were first hit by a vehicle before being stabbed. Two of the three victims are in critical condition and the third is in critical condition.

According to the initial findings and initial testimonies collected by the police, “These attacks are said to be based on a possible story of extortion gone wrong,” a police source told France 3 Provence-Alpes.

Around 9 p.m. on Monday, July 1, three men aged between 19 and 30 years old ” from the Roma community”, the police source indicates, were hit by a van. The latter confirm “the care of three men and the vital prognosis engaged for two of them following a collision with a vehicle and injuries inflicted by a knife”.
