A photo of the RN candidate for the 1st constituency of Calvados, Ludivine Daoudi, where we can see her with a Nazi cap screwed on her head, had caused an outcry. Tuesday morning, on France Blue Normandy Philippe Chapron, departmental delegate of the National Rally in Calvados, indicated that the candidacy had been withdrawn “from today” before the second round of legislative elections.

The candidate had obtained 19.95% of the votes cast, finishing third behind Joël Bruneau, mayor of Caen (DVD), first with 43.11%, and Emma Fourreau (NFP), second with 34.82%. The latter also relayed this photo on her X account on Monday.

And why not photos from 30 or 40 years ago? In any case, we cannot accept this kind of thing.” There will therefore be no three-way race in this constituency.
