Canada Day Gracefield 2024

The people of Val-Gatineau were invited to celebrate Canada Day on Sunday and Monday, and many of them responded.

On Sunday, hundreds of people took part in the activities organized by the City of Gracefield. More than 400 people were present in the evening to attend the musical performance by the group Gueule de bois. Fireworks also lit up the sky of Gracefield, to the delight of young and old alike. The person in charge of the activity, Raymond Tremblay, thanked the Maison de la Famille – Centre de pédiatrie sociale Vallée-de-la-Gatineau and Jeunesse sans frontières for their involvement:

On Monday, it was the Municipality of Blue Sea’s turn to welcome festival-goers for a day of activities. The traditional pétanque tournament attracted many players. A firefighter workshop and a craft workshop were also offered to participants. The day ended with a spaghetti dinner and a show by the Kazbec band. Mayor Laurent was pleased with the participation of the region’s citizens:

The committee in charge of Blue Sea en fête will therefore have several months to put new ideas on the drawing board in order to offer a renewed edition in 2025.
