Come party to celebrate summer! The city center of Bourg-en-Bresse will come alive on Saturday, July 6, 2024, on the occasion of Summer Party. Here is the program of activities.

In the program

  • Avenue Alsace Lorraine: from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., two zip lines 100 meters long with climbing routes at the top of the avenue (from 6 years old, closed shoes required), inflatable obstacle course with slides at the bottom of the avenue, DJ atmosphere with Red Square
  • Place de l’Hôtel de Ville: from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., giant games, wooden and water games from the toy library
  • Esplanade de la Comédie: from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., night-time creation and craft market (there will be no performance of Colors of love on the facade of the theater that evening)
  • Place des Bons-enfants: from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., circuit of radio controlled cars
  • Rue des Bons-enfants, in front of the fresco: from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., electric Slot Grand Prix circuit on bicycles (from 5 years old)
  • Place des Cordeliers: from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., trampoline; from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., face painting for children
  • Place Edgar Quinet: from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., concert by the group Man’Zelle
  • Camus Media Library: from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., activities on the steps of the media library (readings, games, etc.)
  • Rue Bichat: association stands (Doctor Clown, Artisans du monde, Tourist office)

Traffic and parking

Several streets will be closed to traffic and parking for the Summer Festival, from Saturday July 6 at 5 a.m. to Sunday July 7 at 1 a.m.: Bichat, Dr Hudellet, Notre-Dame, Maréchal Joffre, Gambetta, Lalande, Edgar Quinet, Teynière, Clavagry streets and Alsace Lorraine avenue.

Access for local residents will be located at Place Gustave Doré, rue Dr Ebrard, rue du Lycée, impasse du Lycée via rue Romain Roland (Prefecture parking lot).
