Eight French clubs in the Champions Cup, six in the European Challenge
Eight French teams have qualified for the Champions Cup: Stade Toulousain, Union Bordeaux-Bègles, Stade Français Paris, RC Toulon, Stade Rochelais, Racing 92, Castres Olympique, ASM Clermont Auvergne. The reigning champions, Toulouse, will try to win their seventh title in the competition during this new epic.
On the European Challenge side, Pau, Lyon, Perpignan, Bayonne and Montpellier are accompanying RC Vannes in a competition with 18 clubs.
