Now that the Top 14 has ended with the coronation of Stade Toulousain, it is time for the draw for the group stage of the 2025 Champions Cup. The distribution of the groups takes place this Tuesday, July 2, from 12 p.m., in Cardiff. The draw for the European Challenge, the small European cup, will take place with RC Vannes, qualified for this European Cup.

Eight French clubs in the Champions Cup, six in the European Challenge

Eight French teams have qualified for the Champions Cup: Stade Toulousain, Union Bordeaux-Bègles, Stade Français Paris, RC Toulon, Stade Rochelais, Racing 92, Castres Olympique, ASM Clermont Auvergne. The reigning champions, Toulouse, will try to win their seventh title in the competition during this new epic.

On the European Challenge side, Pau, Lyon, Perpignan, Bayonne and Montpellier are accompanying RC Vannes in a competition with 18 clubs.

The first day of the 2025 edition of the Champions Cup and the European Challenge will take place on December 6, 7 and 8.

Stade Toulousain, Union Bordeaux-Bègles, Stade Français Paris, RC Toulon, Stade Rochelais, Racing 92, Castres Olympique, ASM Clermont Auvergne, Northampton Saints, Bath Rugby, Sale Sharks, Saracens, Bristol Bears, Harlequins, Exeter Chiefs, Leicester Tigers, Glasgow Warriors, Vodacom Bulls, Munster Rugby, Leinster Rugby, DHL Stormers, Ulster Rugby, Benetton Rugby, Hollywoodbets Sharks.

The 18 teams qualified for the European Challenge

Section Paloise, USAP, Lyon Olympique Universitaire, Aviron Bayonnais, Montpellier Hérault Rugby, RC Vannes, Gloucester Rugby, Newcastle Falcons, Ospreys, Emirates Lions, Edinburgh Rugby, Connacht Rugby, Cardiff Rugby, Scarlets, Zebre Dragons, Lion Parma, RFC, Black Toyota Cheetahs.
