Legislative election 5th constituency – Didier Paris invites to a “rally for the republic” this Wednesday July 3 in Beaune

As part of the campaign between the two rounds of the legislative election in the 5th constituency, Didier Paris, outgoing deputy of Ensemble, is calling for unity, peace and the defence of the Republic in the face of the danger that, according to him, the rise of the National Rally and its “potential disastrous government” represents.
Stating that July 7 represents a historic responsibility, Didier Paris invites voters to mobilize to “build a united and peaceful France.” He emphasizes the need for general mobilization in a context marked by a significant rise of the National Rally, which obtained more than 45% of the votes in the first round in the 5th constituency.
Despite this strong score, Didier Paris collected 31% of the votes, or 18,130 votes, representing an increase of 7,000 votes compared to 2022 and an increase of 5 points. For the second round scheduled for July 7, voters will have to choose between Didier Paris and René Lioret, RN candidate.
« The RN is on the verge of power and could govern France with its disastrous project. It will be hard but it is not lost. I am terrified at the thought of telling myself that there will be a majority of RN deputies to govern France or the department of Côte-d’Or. We have a duty to oppose it, to do everything to prevent the worst from happening. »
