Saint-Priest-Bramefant. An artistic summer at Guérinet. The 2024 edition of the Guérinet festival will bring its “cultural break in the heart of summer” from July 17 to 24.

50 artists expected, but subsidies down

Volunteers are already working to provide a quality service and welcome to the public and the 50 artists expected.

This preparatory work is accompanied by a communication plan aimed at local populations. Indeed, this year a good attendance of the public will be decisive for the continuation of the festival.

Public subsidies have been reduced or refused. The choice to maintain the entire program could generate a significant deficit without massive public participation. The future of the Guérinet festival is at stake.

The particularity of the Limagne festival lies in the diversity of artistic approaches offered to the public: guinguette evening, classical music, jazz, pop-folk, theater, lyrical art, film concert, musical and ornithological hike, yoga.

Geographically, beyond the Saint-Priestois castle, the royal domain of Randan, the Aigueperse wheat market, the Andelot Chapel will be meeting points for important musical events. Offenbach’s La Belle-Hélène, the Ciné-concert L’Etroit Mousquetaire set to music by the Fabria Ensemble, Auvergne en musique, a chamber music concert by the Alma Mahler Kammerorchester Ensemble, a Babyconcert for children aged 0 to 4 and a classical recital by Elina Kuperman (violin) and Adrien Guy-Duché (piano), Molière’s Amphitryon by the Oghma Company, lit by candlelight and the closing evening hosted by the Argil Trio (Pop-Folk) and Blackstone Orchestra (Jazz Big Band) are scheduled.
