The irremovable president, Christian Verm, at the head of the club since 1995, opened the traditional end-of-season general meeting of the Trèbes football club (TFC).
Despite the stifling heat in the clubhouse, many managers and members had responded to the invitation. On the sports side, next season will see the flagship team play in Regional 3 and the reserve team in Departmental 2. The club has confirmed a change of direction in terms of training management.
Nearly 300 licensees
Two former players from the Orange and Black house will coach the first team and the reserve team respectively: Yacine Regragui and Kader Azzouzi. These appointments are accompanied, beyond the sporting ambition, by a desire to give the youngsters trained at the club every chance to progress in the senior teams.
The football school, for its part, has shone in the heart of the department. Children and educators have continued to make themselves noticed positively on all the Aude grounds.
Qualified educators, well-equipped children present in numbers and quality, and parents who have been able to remain in their role as supporters; this is indeed the greatest success of the Trèbes football club vintage 2024. On the cash side, the club has a budget of just over €110,000 and healthy finances, as the treasurer pointed out. As usual, Mayor Éric Ménassi would not have missed this general meeting for anything in the world. With nearly 300 members, the TFC remains a major player in the associative and sporting life of the city.
