Recently sixth in the 400m of the Trials in Eugene, high school student Quincy Wilson (16 years old) will be part of the American relay team in the 4x400m at the Paris Olympics, according to his coach Joe Lee, reports L’Équipe. Attraction at the start of the Eugene Trials with a 6th place in the 400m and two cadet world records broken in the previous rounds (44”66 and 44”59), the young high school student from Maryland Quincy Wilson (16 years old) hoped to be selected in the relay team for the Paris Olympics, and thus participate in the men’s and/or mixed 4x400m.

The prodigy will thus become the youngest American male athlete to be selected for the Olympic Games. The official announcement could take place on July 8.
