Things are moving in the NHL, but also in the American League.

Especially in Laval!

I say this because the Rocket announced the signing of seven players.

We are talking here about Jakov Novak, Vincent Arseneau, Joshua Jacobs, Vincent Sévigny, Tyler Wotherspoon, Hunter Jones…

And Laurent Dauphin.

Note that Dauphin is returning to Laval after spending the last two seasons in the Coyotes organization (22-23) and in Switzerland (23-24).

It was the Rocket who made the announcement.

What that means is that it comes from John Sedgwick (Rocket GM) and not Kent Hughes (Canadiens GM).

Among the group of players who signed a contract in Laval, we must really note the presence of Vincent Arseneau.

We are talking here about an attacker who will bring depth to the Rocket’s formation…

But above all we are talking about a guy who is not afraid.

The proof?

Arseneau had a furious fight with Matt Rempe last season while playing for the Providence Bruins:

It’s starting to take shape in Laval.

The Rocket team will have several young players next season and John Sedgwick is making sure to surround them in the best possible way by adding veterans to his club.

It will create an interesting dynamic on the ice.

After all, when we look at the experience of recent additions, it’s still interesting:

  • Joshua Jacobs, 341 games in the American League
  • Tyler Wotherspoon, 616 games in the American League
  • Vincent Arseneau, 256 games in the American League
  • Laurent Dauphin, 364 games in the American League

I like this!

Ylönen à Tampa

In the last few days, we learned that Jesse Ylönen was not going to receive a qualifying offer from the Canadiens.

This meant that he became free as the air today…

And the Finn didn’t have to wait long before signing a new agreement.

Ylönen found a job in Tampa Bay:

I wonder if he will have what it takes to crack the Lightning lineup at the start of next season.

That said, it’s better to get up early… Because in my eyes, it would be logical to believe that he may be on his last chance in North America.

A lot of

– A beautiful message.

– It’s done.

– One year for Jack Campbell in Detroit.

– Anthony Beauvillier will continue his career in Pittsburgh.
