On the occasion of the 6the Saint-Laurent-du-Var Polar Festival, which will take place on October 12 and 13, 2024, the town is launching the Readers’ Prize for the second year.
On this occasion, the town of Saint-Laurent-du-Var is looking for candidates who are passionate about detective novels to form a jury of readers who will choose the public prize.
The jury of readers will be composed of 9 members and will have to choose 1 winner from 3 detective novels that will be offered to them.
The jury will be chosen from the applications sent and will be composed solely of residents of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis.
A first meeting with all the members of the jury will take place on Friday August 30 at 11 a.m. in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. During this first discussion, the books competing for the prize will be given to the jurors.
A second meeting will take place on Friday September 27 at 11 a.m. to vote and determine the winner of the 2024 Readers’ Prize.
The award ceremony will take place during the 2024 Polar Festival.
