Traffic changes on this main street in Montauban: what’s happening

The Urban Community of Grand Montauban has scheduled the rehabilitation of the wastewater network of the Grand Rue Sapiacas of this Monday, July 1, 2024. The works should last a month.

Community services inform: “The Grand Rue Sapiac will be closed to traffic on its lower part (from the bridge to the roundabout rue de l’Abbaye); traffic will be maintained in two directions from rue du Tescou to allée du Consul-Dupuy”.

“Parking for local residents will be forbidden during the active phases of the construction site. THE access to properties riverside will be maintained in all circumstances”.

Finally, thenursery school Francis-Jourdain, in operation until July 7, will of course remain accessible: access will be via the Tescou bridge to exit rue Alphonse-Jourdain via rue des Bains.

Waste collection and buses

During the duration of the works, users must not take out their bacs selective sorting and household waste.

” Two collection points will be put in place: one before the bridge on Grand Rue Sapiac at the level of rue du Tescou and one on the side of rue de l’Abbaye”, inform the services of the Agglomeration Community of Grand Montauban.
