Born from a simple meeting of friends passionate about music on a Sunday in January 2019, Sunday Music quickly grew thanks to the magic of the shared moment and the power of social networks. The first public event attracted nearly 1,000 participants, revealing the enormous potential of this initiative. Since then, Sunday Music has continued to grow, bringing together more than 14,000 people in 2023.
On Sunday, July 7, 2024, the Sunday Music Festival will take over the Arènes de Lunel with a brand new scenography by Creative Elevation, the renowned Las Vegas company known for its collaborations with EDC Las Vegas, Brunch in the Park, Rumors, Paradise, and Tomorrowland. This exceptional edition promises a unique and immersive visual experience. Headlining, find DJs Joris Voorn and Nitefreak, accompanied by Soubeiran, Tibo Ksrg, Mathis Bouloc and a dozen regional artists spread over two stages. The festival also offers a village of stands on the terrace of the Arènes with various activities: tattoos, jewelry, makeup, massage, food, thrift stores and many other surprises.
Sunday Music is also a vibrant village of creativity and diversity. In collaboration with local artisans, the festival offers a small-scale market offering a variety of activities: thrift stores, artisanal jewelry stores, tattoo and massage stands, as well as varied culinary options. More than fifteen different stands enrich each event, highlighting regional talents. Unlike traditional electronic music events, Sunday Music aims to be innovative by making music accessible to all and by offering an immersive experience in atypical places. The festival is an immersion in a unique event with multiple facets, with an ephemeral scenography and a village of varied activities.
