Legislative Results 2024. What results for the candidate ministers in Île-de-France?

There were eleven candidates running to become MPs in the region. Most of them qualified for the second round. Some came out on top without being elected in the first round and are in a runoff.

Many members of the government tried to run for a new mandate in their respective strongholds. The results are mixed but many finished first in this first legislative election.

Three first places in Hauts-de-Seine

Prime Minister Gabriel Attal came first in the 10th constituency of Hauts-de-Seine (Vanves) with 43.9% of the vote. He surpasses the PS candidate Cécile Soubelet who displays 35.5%.

First place also for Stéphane Séjourné, Minister of Foreign Affairs. He obtained 46.1% of the votes in the 9th Hauts-de-Seine constituency ahead of Pauline Rapilly-Ferniot (EELV) with 21.4%.

For her part, government spokesperson Prisca Thevenot finished first in the eighth constituency with 39.9% of the votes ahead of Salomé Nicolas-Chavnce (PS) who obtained 30.3%.

In Yvelines, Marie Lebec, in charge of relations with Parliament, is in the lead in the 4th constituency with 41.2% of the vote. She is ahead of Céline Bourdon (LFI) who displays 27.2%.

First place also went to the Minister of Solidarity Aurore Bergé. She collected 33.6% of the votes ahead of the RN candidate Thomas Du Chalard with 28.2%.

The Minister Delegate for Europe and France Jean-Noel Barrot also comes out in first position in the 2th constituency with 35%. He is ahead the ecologist Maité Carrive-Bedouani at 26.3%.

Unfavorable ballooning in Seine-et-Marne

In Seine-et-Marne, two ministers finished 2nd in the first round. First, the Minister of Health, Fréderic Valletoux. He precedes the RN candidate Ivanka Dimitrova with 33.7%, chosen by 35.1% of voters.

Frank Riester, Minister Delegate for Commerce who with 31.4% was beaten by an RN candidate, Philippe Fontana who collected 41.8% of the votes.

Mixed fortunes in Paris

Another minister in an uncertain position, Stanislas Guérini in Paris in the 3th constituency of the capital. With 34%, the minister in charge of the Transformation of the civil service is overtaken by Léa Balage el Mariky, EELV candidate who scored 46.1%.

Olivia Grégoire, Minister in charge of VSEs and SMEs, was also a candidate in Paris, in the 12th constituency. She came out on top with 39.4% of the vote ahead of Céline Maisé (PCF) at 29%.

Finally, in Essonne Marie Guévenoux, Minister of Overseas Territories is in unfavorable ballot in the 9th constituency. She finished with 27.1% of the votes. The candidate Paul-Henri Merrien RN is slightly ahead of her with 29.96% of the votes.
