One of the flagship events of the CD08 Sports Department, the Wild Boar Days, is back! Everyone at the Maison des Sports in Bazeilles this Saturday, November 30, to experience the start of this 10th edition around karate!
The Marcassins Departmental Days are back in action next weekend! Saturday November 30, the Departmental Sports Center in Bazeilles will host the 10th edition of this event, and it is karate which has been chosen to launch this new 2024-2025 season!
From 1 p.m., more than 200 young athletes aged 6 to 14 are expected on the tatami for a friendly and sporting afternoon! Licensees from karate clubs will be present, but the event is also open to non-licensees who would like to discover this discipline.
Practical information
Throughout the afternoon, introductory and advanced sports workshops will be offered to children and young people. They will be supervised by educators from the Department's Prevention, Sport and Leisure Service and by the various associations present.
The event is free and open to all.
Note that the event will be an opportunity to officially award diplomas for neo-black belts.
Departmental Wild Boar Days
The Marcassins Departmental Days now concern around ten disciplines, both collective and individual (handball, karate, rugby, table tennis, athletics, etc.).
Goals :
• Uphold the values of commitment, self-improvement and social cohesion
• Promote a discipline among the youngest, club members or not, in partnership with departmental committees, club leaders, educators and referees,
• Share advice from professional athletes with young participants by involving players from the department's flagship clubs.
