An individual particularly recalcitrant to authority, known to Nantes police officers for his participation in lively demonstrations, acted out on Sunday evening. On the sidelines of an anti-RN rally, which had not really started, this 31-year-old man, masked and wearing a cap, refused to submit to an identity check.
The scene took place at Place du Pont-Morand, in the center, around 7:30 p.m., a few steps from Talensac, the meeting place given by the anti-fascists to witness the results of the first round of these anticipated legislative elections, and whose The procession set off around 8 p.m.

The thirty-year-old was arrested and taken into custody for violence against persons in authority, committed by a person covering all or part of his face.
The appeal launched by unions and organizations in reaction to the election results brought together nearly 600 people in Nantes according to the prefecture, and a thousand according to the organizers. Some exchanges of tear gas between police and demonstrators broke out at the end of the evening.
