Alexandre Godey joins Quimper Volley 29 | DR
The Quimper Volley 29 has its pair in the pass! Alexandra Godey (18 years old, nicknamed “Sasha” Godey) completes the Quimper squad, after the arrival of Pauline Martin last week.
The second recruit of QV29
Trained at the Châtenay-Malabry youth center (where François-Xavier Garnon, the QV29 coach, officiated), then at the IFVB, Alexandre Godey then signed with the Marcq-en-Barœul club. Daughter of ex-pro Irina Godey (ex-Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud), the Francilienne is the second recruit of Quimper Volley 29, after Pauline Martin, knowing that Alexandre Joffrin had extended his contract with the Cornouaillais club.

“We are delighted with the arrival of Sasha in our squad,” said François-Xavier Garnon in a press release. “She is a player I know well, a young player with potential who will complete the setter duo for next season.”
