While the final of the fifth edition of the HCUP (Marseille football tournament) was held this Sunday, June 30 at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille, violent incidents spoiled the party.
In addition to the palpable tension on the pitch, supporters invaded the pitch, requiring the intervention of the police.
A football match ruined in Marseille
The match between the teams from La Viste and Centre-Ville did not go as planned, due to an invasion of the pitch by certain supporters from the second camp.
Interrupted for the first time, the meeting finally came to an end, but at the end of the match, new incidents broke out.
On the lawn, smoke bombs were thrown and the CRS intervened. Calm did not return until several minutes later. The feeling of the party being ruined, however, still remains.
