Near Rouen: He flees after his arrest, his mother takes him back to the police station

He thought he was escaping the police, but that was without counting on his family… Saturday June 29, 2024, in the early morning, shortly after 7 a.m., a police patrol was called to intervene on rue du Dauphiné in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvraynear Rouen (Seine-Maritime).

On site, four individuals were seen in the courtyard of a housewearing masks and a neck warmer for one of them, in order to hide their faces. The police entered the premises, occupied by an elderly couple, who saw and heard nothing.

The four were finally spotted not far away, on Rue du Vexin, next to two vehicles, a Mercedes and an Iveco utility vehicle, which turned out to have been stolen from the same owner. When the police saw the young people aged 15 to 18 throw away their mask and several items in their possession, including phone chargers, cutting pliers and a screwdriver.

They are arrested, but the youngest manages to flee. He will be brought back to the police station by his mother aged 35.
