The Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation (FRMC) organized the Moroccan road cycling championships from June 28 to 30 in Ifrane, which saw the victory of Adil El Abaoui in the men’s category and Malika Benallal in the women’s category.


Moroccan cyclist Adil El Arbaoui (Khouribga cycling club) managed to retain his title of Moroccan time trial champion, by winning, on Friday, the individual event which took place over 34 km (one way / return) in Michlifen, as part of the first day of the Moroccan road cycling championships, organized from June 28 to 30 in Ifrane, under the aegis of the International Cycling Union (UCI). El Arbaoui completed the race in 41min 02sec 05/100th, ahead of Mohcine El Kouraji who achieved a time of 42min 06sec 06/100th and Oussama Khafi who came third (42min 17sec 04/100th).

For his part, Achraf Ed-Doghmy, vice-champion during the previous edition of the Moroccan road cycling championships, settled for fourth place (43min 31sec 09/100th), while Salaheddine Mraouni arrived fifth ( 43min 41sec 04/100).
Among the senior ladies, the title went to Malika Benallal (Union Sportive de Ouazzane) with a time of 27min 01sec 07/100, ahead of the defending champion Chaimae Zekraoui (28min 04sec).
The Moroccan road cycling championships, organized by the Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation, see the participation of all associations affiliated with the Federation.
