Did you really think that Luka Doncic was not going to wear the Slovenia jersey to try to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games? You are cute.

The various Olympic Qualifying Tournaments (OTQ) will begin this Tuesday, respectively in Riga (Latvia), Valencia (Spain), San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Athens (Greece). Each nation that wins one of these tournaments will be granted a ticket to the 2024 Olympics. For the Athens tournament, we could well have a high-flying final between Luka Doncic’s Slovenia and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Greece. Which obviously means that one of the two stars will have to be content to watch the Olympic Games on television with his entire team. Yes, great moments sometimes involve sacrifices.

The Slovenes will start with Croatia, then move on to New Zealand. On the other side of the table, Greece will link up with Egypt and the Dominican Republic. If all goes well for Slovenia and Greece, they will only meet in the Final, but for that, they obviously have to win their two group matches. In any case, Luka Doncic will do everything to offer this qualification to his team. To do this, he will be accompanied in particular by Vlatko Cancar of the Nuggets, and Zoran Dragic, Goran’s little brother.

To potentially find Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo face to face in the final, it is on Sunday July 7 at 8 p.m. that it should happen. But be careful, because nothing is done yet!
