Transfers. Pro D2 – Montauban formalizes the arrival of a new staff led by Sébastien Tillous-Borde

The USM formalized this Monday the arrival of a new sports staff to replace that of Pierre-Philippe Lafond. Former Rouen coach Sébastien Tillous-Borde will lead the Montalban club from the upcoming season.

For two years, USM has been fighting for its survival in the antechamber of the elite. Arrived urgently to save the club from relegation in 2022-23, Pierre-Philippe Lafond managed to keep the ship afloat during two very complicated seasons. So much so, that the former pillar was thanked after the dam won against Narbonne. While forwards coach Florent Wieczorek had already been let go during the season, it was then David Byrnes, David Aucagne, Julien Gauthier and Nicolas Szezur who had to leave the club at the start of the summer.

The former Rouen staff arrives

To replace them, several names have been mentioned but like recently revealed by Midi Olympiqueit is a staff led by the former Rouen coach Sébastien Tillous-Borde who was chosen. The former scrum-half arrives this summer, accompanied by Johan Snyman (forwards coach), Andries Hough (three-quarters coach) and Cameron Ruiz (physical trainer). All these great people will have the mission of keeping the club in Pro D2 and allowing it to find higher standards.
