According to the RNI president, this event was an opportunity to emphasize the role of the engineer in supporting the profound transformations that Morocco is experiencing.

Dynamization: This event aimed to shed light on the contribution of engineers in the planning, implementation and evaluation of strategies and national plans in all vital sectors, while seeking to promote the opening of the RNI to skills.

Considered the beating heart of the dove party, the Moroccan engineer is one of the fundamental pillars of developmental transformation as well as the acceleration of the pace of progress and sustainable development. This was stated by Aziz Akhannouch, President of the RNI, during the second RNI Engineers’ Conference held on Saturday, June 29, under the theme “The engineer at the heart of social and economic transformations”. Initiated by the RNI engineers’ corps, this event was an opportunity to emphasize “the role of the engineer in supporting the profound transformations that Morocco is experiencing”, he said, while recalling the contribution of the Moroccan engineer to the major projects carried out by the Kingdom in vital sectors such as renewable energies, digitalization, transport and industry. As with their first edition, these second meetings aimed to consolidate the culture of professional organizations parallel to other RNI bodies, while promoting the party’s openness to skills in Morocco.

They also sought to show “the contribution of engineers in the planning, implementation and evaluation of national strategies and plans in all vital sectors, in addition to their fundamental role in the management of local public affairs and the “development of local policies that are more appropriate to society’s expectations,” explained Mr. Akhannouch.
Based on his long experience as a politician, having started as a councilor in the commune of Tafraout, the president of the RNI encouraged the RNI engineers to get involved in politics and to strengthen their presence in elected bodies. This allows them, according to Mr. Akhannouch, to contribute to the boosting of economic growth and the implementation of projects with a positive impact on society. “The engineers were the first to have carried out an exemplary and effective organizational transformation of the RNI,” he said, noting that the engineers were also the first to have developed for the party a practical vision for “the management of the affairs of the company in a horizontal and vertical manner.”

These meetings, which were distinguished by the presence of party leaders and representatives of the European People’s Party (EPP) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as well as a significant number of elected officials and RNIist activists, constituted a opportunity for participants to discuss the role of the engineer in supporting the major achievements that Morocco is experiencing. It intervenes through “its contribution to the establishment of the bases of national sovereignty in vital areas”, explained Ahmed Bouari, president of the corps of engineers of the RNI, while wishing to salute the engineers for their efforts in the promotion of economic growth in Morocco. Same story for Mohammed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, who praised the role of engineers in carrying out major projects in Morocco, in particular the agricultural sector.

He recalled that these Conferences were an opportunity to discuss the possibilities of strengthening their role in achieving integrated development, promoting the convergence of programs and projects and their implementation at national and local levels. .
