2024 Legislative Elections: RN and its allies come out on top in 22 of the 27 constituencies of Bourgogne Franche-Comté

In Burgundy-Franche-Comté as in France, the National Rally came first in the European elections on June 9. Results leading to the dissolution of the National Assembly and the holding of early legislative elections. This Sunday, June 30, 2024, voters in the Region went to the polls for the first round of voting. And the trend repeats itself.

It is a map mainly in the colors of the National Rally which is emerging in Burgundy Franche-Comté at the end of this first round of the legislative elections. In Haute-Saône and Yonne, two candidates from the far-right party were elected in the first round. Elsewhere, a few rare constituencies saw New Popular Front, Together! candidates rise to first place. or The Republicans.

The Doubs more heterogeneous

Doubs is one of the departments in the region, if not the only one, to show more heterogeneous results at the end of the first round. The department also has the particularity of having four possible three-way races, and a duel in the fifth constituency. The National Rally comes out on top in two of the five constituencies. Elsewhere, the second round will pit Ensemble!, LFI NFP and RN candidates (in a three-way race), EELV-NFP, RN and Ensemble! candidates (also in a three-way race), and LR and RN candidates.

In Haute-Saône, an outgoing deputy (RN) re-elected in the first round, the RN in the lead in the other constituency

In the two constituencies that make up Haute-Saône, the RN again comes out on top. According to our colleagues from France 3, in the first constituency, the second round will see an RN candidate and an Ensemble! candidate face off. In the second, the outgoing deputy (RN) was re-elected in the first round (50.11%).

In the Jura, three duels against the National Rally

In the three constituencies of Jura, the second round will be held with three duels. The National Rally comes first in two constituencies and will face an outgoing candidate and MP Together! in one, and a candidate and outgoing LR MP in the other. An LR candidate, outgoing MP, comes first in the second constituency, and will face an RN candidate.

The Territoire de Belfort is not immune to the RN wave

Two more duels in the Territoire de Belfort, with, again, candidates from the National Rally in the lead. One composed of an RN candidate and an outgoing LR deputy candidate, the second opposing an RN candidate and an outgoing LFI deputy.
