Transfer – Top 14: James Hall joins Perpignan for next season – Quinze Ovalie

James Hall, a 28-year-old South African scrum-half, is leaving Racing 92 to join Perpignan. After suffering a serious injury last January, he hopes to relaunch his career with USAP.

A new start after a complicated season

Injured in January during a match against Toulouse, James Hall has only played four games with Racing 92 this season, totalling just 52 minutes of play.

The rupture of the cruciate ligament of the knee slowed down his progress, but here he is ready to start again under the colors of Perpignan. A new challenge which could well allow him to regain his best level.

Perpignan strengthens

After a season that ended in 10th place, USAP is wasting no time in strengthening its team, particularly at scrum-half. James Hall joins the newly recruited Gela Aprasidze and probably Sadek Degmache. With these three players, Perpignan hopes to boost its game and aim higher next season.

Hall, a Top 14 regular

Before joining Racing 92, Hall played for Oyonnax and then Stade Français. His time at these clubs allowed him to establish himself as a talented and experienced scrum-half. Next season, he will bring his experience to USAP, with the aim of getting back on track after a difficult year.

With this transfer, Perpignan clearly displays its ambitions and is counting on the contribution of James Hall to return to the top of the Top 14. The player, for his part, is determined to prove that he has lost none of his talent despite his injury.
