In 2022, it was in this part of the northern districts of Marseille that the RN had conquered its only constituency in the second city of France. Former loyalist of Stéphane Ravier before the latter switched to Reconquête, Gisèle Lelouis (RN) had won without forcing (55%) against the LFI candidate of Nupes, Mohamed Bensaada, despite the first place of the rebellious in the first round. At the time, the outgoing MP (LREM) Alexandra Louis, had not called for the famous “republican front” against the far-right party.

In the 1st round of the 2022 legislative elections, within the 3rd constituency, the participation rate was 37.14% then 37.16% in the 2nd round.
