Clarence Hamon DeVeulle Obituary
Clarence Hamon DeVeulle age 95, passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on June 29th, 2024. Born in Stratford, he was the son of the late Philip and Annie (King) DeVeulle. Clarence worked at Ontario Hydro before taking a job with the Ministry of Transportation where he worked as a mechanic and Inspector for the next 30 years until retiring. He lived in Stratford for sixty-five years, retiring to Bayfield in 1989 with a final move to Ilderton in 2007.
Clare is predeceased by his wife Phyllis (Roney) in 2020. He is survived by nieces and nephew Sheila Fell, Jerry Cunningham (Linda), Denise Keelan (Glen) and Faye Reichert and their families. He will be dearly missed by good friends John Campbell (Nancy Eckert) and Wilma Van Bussel.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by his sister Marion Cunningham and nephew Michael Cunningham.
A private family service will be held with interment at Avondale Cemetery.
