The Secretary of State for the City, candidate in the first constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône, is withdrawing and does not “want votes for the RN”.

Sabrina Agresti-Roubache, Secretary of State for Urban Affairs and candidate in the first constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône, announced her withdrawal on Sunday evening, June 30, following the first results of the legislative elections.

She indicates that she does not want a “voice for the RN”, she added.

According to partial results, she is third in her constituency and credited with 23.14% with provisional results. In front of her, the RN candidate, Monique Griseti is credited with 44.90% of the votes and Pascaline Lécorché (NFP) is at 28.01%.

During the 2022 election, RN candidate Monique Griseti topped the poll with 27.26% of the vote, followed by Sabrina Agresti-Roubache (25.42%). In the second round, it was ultimately Sabrina Agresti-Roubache who won with 50.79% of the votes, ahead of the RN candidate 49.21%.

As a reminder, during the European elections on June 9, the National Rally list led by Jordan Bardella came first in this constituency, with 40.8% of the votes, ahead of the LFI list (12.09%) and the Renaissance list (11.16%).
