Motorists driving near will have to review their route, particularly those taking highways 16 and 216.

As part of the maintenance of its network, the interdepartmental directorate of northern roads (DIR ) will carry out work on a structure near the municipality of Calais from Monday November 25 at 8 a.m. to Friday December 6, 2024 at 9 p.m.without interruption, weekends included.

What traffic restrictions on the motorways concerned?

On the A16

  • Direction Calais → :
    • Closure of the Calais-Port exit (interchange no. 47)
      → Diversion: continue on the A16 towards Dunkirk, take the Marck-Ouest exit (interchange no. 48) to turn around and return to the initial route.
  • Direction Dunkirk → Calais :
    • Closure of the Saint-Omer exit towards the A26 (interchange no. 47)
      → Diversion: continue on the A16 towards Calais, take the Calais-Centre exit (interchange no. 46) to turn around and take the desired route.

On the A216

  • A16 → Port : neutralization of the left lane near Calais.
  • Sens Port → A16 : reduction in the width of the insertion ramp towards the A16 towards Dunkirk.
