Opening a tea room was necessary for The Germ of Destiny36 years old, who has just taken over the old Julie's living room, in (Val-d’Oise).

The former food professor traveled quite a bit before taking a pastry course in 2017.

She begins by working in a family business by copying the recipes of the Best Pastry Chef, seen on .

“When I create, I can spend the night in the laboratory,” she confides.

After working in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône, she chose to launch herself in Pontoise.

“I like the old setting of this town,” explains the woman who lives in .

Espace coworking

Trained in French pastry, she likes to revisit it by bringing her touch of exoticism. Haitian of origin, she offers recipes with exotic flavors.

In an ocean blue decor, the Germine salon contributes to the diversity of the city's catering offerings.

The tasting can be accompanied by coffee and tea, infusions of plants from organic farming.

“We don’t use tap water for our drinks,” warns the manager, who accompanies her recipes with cane sugar and agave syrup.

The business has a coworking space and also offers pastry workshops on Wednesdays for young people and on Sunday afternoons.

Brunch also from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
